Sometimes I forget, but not often--especially when I'm in the middle of a book. Sometimes it sounds a lot like begging. At other times it's zombic and dazed. I repeat myself a lot. If I'm truthful, I often wonder if God hears those, because they seem not just a little pitiful and often incoherent to my ear. But I trust that the One unscrambles my prayer word salads. [...]
