Just a few days before Christmas, Pure Enjoyment's resident marketing guru Julie Gwinn remembers one way that her children brought laughter to her family's holiday festivities:

Not too many years ago, my daughter was 3 and my son was five. My husband had just wrapped my gifts and put them under the tree. I picked up one and shook it and said, "I wonder what could be in here?" My daughter, without missing a beat said, "pots and pans." So I picked up the next one and asked the same question and she said "coffee pot." By now, my husband had scooped her up and took her upstairs to explain the concept of a "good secret."
